3 - Manly Wade Wellman's "Back to the Beast" & "Dead Dog"

Prolific pulp author Manly Wade Wellman has been singled out not for his robust body of work, but his amazing name. Taking a crack at two of his short stories, the boys are in for some weird tales of strange science and vengeful animal spirits. Also, Doctor Satan makes an appearance (and some demands).

“Back to the Beast” (November 1927) and “Dead Dog” (August 1938) both published in Weird Tales. Read along here.
